Copper Alloy Standards

Tin bronze provide good wear resistance, high load carrying capacity and corrosion resistance. Tin ensure also high durability and tensile strength.
Applications: Highly loaded and corrosion-prone machine parts and friction parts of machines operating at high pressures and speeds.
Aluminium bronze provide a combination of high strength and hardness with wear and corrosion resistance.
Leaded bronzes provide excelent  resistnace  to corrosion and abrasion. Good  machinability and long service life.
Brass - are widely used in technology and, after light alloys, they are the most common alloys of the non-ferrous metal group.
Generally, Cu - Zn alloys can be divided into two main groups, namely plain brass and special brass.
In the foundry industry, special brasses are widely used, i.e. alloys which, apart from copper and zinc, contain additional alloying elements such as lead Pb, Tin Sn, Aluminum Al, Nickel Ni, Manganese Mn, Iron Fe. They are introduced to improve the mechanical and anti-corrosion properties.
